Frankincense Bath Bomb Benefits | This very special collaboration between Aurum Apotheca + Archaeus Apothecary features my artisanally distilled Frankincense (Boswellia sacra-Oman) essential oil and boswellic acid extract, combined with the magic of Archaeus Apothecary’s bath bomb wizardry. This frankincense is artfully separated via distillation by Rebecca into its essential oil, hydrosol, and remaining boswellic-acid rich solids, which are then purified by Archaeus, and recombined with the essential oil into a fizzing bath bomb base to create a truly holy bath experience.
Boswellic acids are a class of anti-inflammatory compounds especially known for helping to reduce inflammation-related joint pain. We are very excited about the potential to give folks access to this incredible plant medicine in a new way. By using a fizzy bath bomb base to disperse this essential oil (a.k.a. terpene "entourage") and non-water soluble anti-inflammatory compounds into your bath water, we make them more available to soak in through warm damp skin and find their way into your body without passing through the gut.
